Niamh Howard’s Fundraiser
Niamh Howard
My Story
My name is Niamh Howard and I will be running the Bath Half Marathon in March of 2026. I'm raising money for Cancer Research, which is an amazing charity that is very close to my heart. This is because my Dad was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2019. He had it surgically removed in the summer of 2020, which was an urgent operation as the tumour was putting a lot of pressure on his brain. There were multiple risks such as having a stroke, paralysis in his face and death from the surgery. He was left completely deaf in his right ear as a result of the 14 hour operation. He has been recovering immensely well since then. Without the incredible research that Cancer Research UK carry out, my Dad might not still be here today. It is because of the research these wonderful people carry out that he is able to recover the way he has been. This cause is so so incredible and saves lives of people on a daily basis and I am delighted to be able to run this half marathon in honour of the lives that the cruel disease of cancer has taken from us. Thank you so much for reading and any donations are so appreciated. Thank you❤️
