My Story
I am proud to be running the Bath Half Marathon to raise funds for Bath Rugby Foundation.
Bath Rugby Foundation believe that every child deserves a fair start in life. Yet, too many young people in Bath and the surrounding areas are missing out on the opportunities and support they need to thrive.
Their mission is to step in where others can’t, offering vital emotional, social, and practical help to children and young people who need it most.
Bath is a city of contrasts—while it may be renowned for its beauty and history, it is also one of the most unequal cities in the UK. Right now, there are over 10,000 vulnerable young people across our region. Annually Bath Rugby Foundation work with around 4,500 children, offering over 1,700 hours of support in classrooms and providing more than 2,500 hours of physical activity at 49 community sites. They are proud to have supported hundreds of young people with special educational needs (SEN) and provided nearly 2,400 meals during school holidays to children living in poverty.
Bath Rugby Foundation aren’t just a charity—they are community. They are here for the long haul, committed to standing alongside Bath’s most vulnerable young people and empowering them to build brighter futures. Whether it’s in the classroom, on the pitch, or through vital social services, our programmes are designed to build confidence, develop life skills, and create pathways to independence within each young person.
Together, we can change lives.
They're not doing this alone. Bath Rugby Foundation is proud to work hand-in-hand with local schools, businesses, and community groups across the region. But we need your help to make sure no young person is left behind.
Join us in creating a brighter future for all our young people.
