My Story

The GetPRO Bath Half is one of the UK’s most prestigious half marathons and is the largest charity fundraising event in south-west England. Since 2000, more than £30 million has been raised for charity at the Bath Half.

#SUPER-HERO ELLA 

I’m running the Bath Half Marathon in honour of a very special little girl called Ella, who I had the privilege of meeting with her wonderful family about a month ago. Since then, Ella has been incredibly brave after being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and spending over a week in hospital. The strength, courage and positivity she has shown through something so life-changing is truly inspiring — she has handled it like a real-life superhero. Every step I run will be for Ella, to celebrate her resilience, to support her journey ahead, and to show her and her family that they are surrounded by people who care deeply and are cheering them on every single day. 💙
