My Story

As many of you may know, my husband Graham was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine cancer on his pancreas and liver in June '25. This is a rare cancer but it is on the increase and this year it was the 10th most common cancer diagnosis. The charity provides essential support to cancer sufferers and their loved ones as well as providing vital evidence to oncologists trying to understand how this cancer develops. It receives no government funding or funding from any of the other cancer charities. 

On 15th March '26 I shall be running the Bath half marathon to raise funds for Neuroendocrine Cancer. I hate running with a passion but any discomfort I have is nothing compared to the discomfort sufferers of this horrible disease experience. Please help me to make this happen. Any amount, however small is greatly appreciated. Any support on the day (or beforehand) would be most welcome. Thank you. 

 The GetPRO Bath Half is one of the UK’s most prestigious half marathons and is the largest charity fundraising event in south-west England. Since 2000, more than £30 million has been raised for charity at the Bath Half.
